Namaste and welcome to the American Telugu Association’s website. As the president of the American Telugu Association, I am humbled and proud to lead ATA, an organization of thousands of Telugu members who come together in the name of cultural prosperity, community service, and family.
I wish that all of you are doing well and taking care during the ongoing pandemic. Over the course of this year, we have overcome unprecedented difficulties to take care of our families and be considerate to one another. ATA hopes that our Covid-19 adapted programs helped to bring a sense of community for our Telugu families at home. Let us all be positive and do our best to support each other in the coming months.
ATA’s mission is to preserve and propagate Telugu heritage. Our goals are to promote our vibrant culture, actively participate in SEVA (Service of Emergency Voluntary Assistance) services and help our motherland through the ATA Foundation. Importantly, we also aim to increase youth involvement, so that future generations growing up in the United States are just as connected to their Telugu origin as we are currently.
If you are already a member, I thank you for your support and hope you find our website informative. If you are not a member, please consider exploring the page and joining this great organization.
ATA has one singular motto for all its members — Passion for our Culture, Compassion for our People.
With warm regards,
